Front Of House Staff

Edenmill Farm is primarily a Christmas Tree Farm with the café and soft play all being located on the land. We are surrounded by beautiful walks up to Burncrooks and Kilmannan Reservoir. Over the last couple of years, we have started introducing events to our portfolio. At Christmas time run a very successful Drive Thru Santa Experience. The opportunities here are growing every day.

We are currently looking for enthusiastic and hard working staff to join our team.

Edenmill is a brilliant place to work, with new ventures in the planning. You would be joining a team that is evolving and growing with the opportunity to learn new skills and progress quickly.

We are currently recruiting for part time and full time front of house staff. Experience not required but would be desirable. All training will be provided.

Applicant must carry a valid driving license to be able to travel here as we don’t have access to public transport.

Salary – Depends on experience.

Hours – Depends on the role

Animal Trekker

At Edenmill Farm we are looking for a keen and enthusiastic individual to join our growing team to help look after our animals. We currently have Alpacas, sheep, hens, ducks, peacocks, rabbits and guinea pigs with us looking to grow the herd over the spring months. We are looking for someone to help look after and nurture the animals as well as run Animals Treks and Petting Zoos with young children. If this sounds like the ideal position for you we would love to hear from you!!

Rate of pay – Negotiable

Previous animal handling experience required

 

Duties include

Trekking the animals up and around the farm and surrounding countryside
Sharing interesting facts about the animals
Managing a crowd of customers on the trek making sure they adhere to safety procedures
Providing safety chat at the beginning of each trek
Mucking out and feeding the animals daily
Caring for the animals
Be available during the week and at weekends depending on bookings etc

Desired Skills

Comfortable working with animals
Previous Customer service experience
Happy to work outside regardless of the weather

Personal Qualities

An interest and previous experience working with animals
Enthusiastic
Happy to work alone or as part of a team
Have access to a vehicle and hold a full UK driving license or be able to get here for your shifts without using public transport
